Who are 1:1 Tech Coaching Sessions Designed For?

Our one-on-one tech coaching sessions are designed for older adults who want calm, patient individual attention to learn how to best use their devices for their needs. With personalized guidance on their own phones, computers, tablets, smart devices, TVs and everyday technology, TechWise Coaching covers relevant content at a pace and format that works best for them.

What Happens in a Coaching Session?

Coaching sessions can be led by clients to tackle a list of questions they have, they can be guided by one or more of our services (see list below), or a combination. In our first coaching session, which we recommend as 1.5-2 hours, we will review your tech coaching needs and make a plan for accomplishing your goals.

Where are Coaching Sessions?

We come to you and meet in-person at your home or a mutually agreeable location. We will travel to you in Northern Virginia, Montgomery County, Maryland and vicinity. Travel fee of $25 added for roundtrip travel greater than 25 miles from McLean, VA and $50 travel fee added for roundtrip greater than 40 miles.

Online virtual coaching available after consultation and usually only after some in-person sessions so we can understand your needs, devices and learning styles before coaching virtually.

How Much Do Coaching Sessions Cost?

At TechWise Coaching, all one-on-one technology coaching services are tailored to provide high-quality, patient, and personalized support in the comfort of your home. Pricing reflects the time, care, and expertise required to make your technology easy, stress-free, and truly useful in your daily life. We understand sometimes clients don't know where to start when it comes to technology. That's why we have defined a list of the common technology services clients need. While the following list is extensive, it represents only a part of the full scope of our offerings. Don't see something tech related you would like help with, just ask. These services are billed at our hourly rates. Additional fees may apply for such services as account subscription consolidation and cancellation, pickup, delivery, printed step-by-step guides, and e-cycling.​
