Amy Burk has over 30 years of technology experience, including roles with the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, and AOL, and holds certifications from Google, Microsoft, and the state of Virginia. She specializes in making technology accessible and empowering for adult learners.

Sessions are billed at an hourly rate and can be led by the client's own list of questions or guided by TechWise Coaching's service menu. First sessions recommended at 1.5–2 hours. Services include:

- **Backup & Cloud Storage Checkup**: Cloud account consolidation (iCloud, Google, OneDrive, Dropbox), backup verification, cloud education.

- **Tech Subscription Cleanup**: Review and cancel redundant or unwanted subscriptions and recurring payments.

- **Cables, Devices & Home Tech Organization**: Sorting, labeling, cable management, eCycling of outdated items.

- **Smart TV & Streaming Setup**: Streaming app setup, remote simplification, cable-to-streaming transition, cost comparison.

- **Connecting with Others Using Technology**: Messaging, group chats, video calls, social media setup and privacy.

- **Custom How-To Guides**: Printed or emailed step-by-step instructions tailored to the client.

## Group Class Topics

Group classes use a curriculum designed specifically for adult learners. Topics include: device customization and control, security and privacy, voice tools, accessibility, technology for independence, artificial intelligence, social media, creativity, entertainment, and more.

## Service Area

**In-person**: Northern Virginia — Fairfax County, McLean, Falls Church, Arlington, Great Falls, Vienna — and into Montgomery County MD and Washington DC.

**Travel fees**: $25 added for round-trip travel over 25 miles from McLean, VA; $50 for over 40 miles.

**Virtual**: Available for established clients only, typically after in-person sessions.
